Safe Homes. Restored Dignity. Stronger Communities.

Thousands of widows and underprivileged families live in unsafe, deteriorating homes—exposed to disease, danger, and shame. Nekeson Charity’s Housing Initiative builds new homes and renovates existing structures, providing families with safe, dignified living spaces that restore hope and enable them to focus on building better futures.

What Your $10,000 Donation Covers:

  • Complete renovation of 2 homes (or partial construction of new homes)
  • Structural repairs: roofing, walls, foundations
  • Essential amenities: windows, doors, flooring
  • Basic furnishings and household items
  • Water and sanitation improvements

The Impact: A safe home transforms everything. Children study better. Parents feel dignity. Health improves without constant exposure to the elements. Families can invite neighbors, participate in community life, and build futures with hope instead of survival mode. One renovated home impacts 5-7 people directly and strengthens entire communities.

Why This Matters:

  • 35 million Nigerians live in substandard housing
  • Poor housing leads to disease, health complications, and school dropout
  • Safe housing increases children’s school attendance by 45%
  • Home improvement boosts family psychological wellbeing and social participation

Beneficiaries: 10-14 people (2 families) | Duration: 3-4 months per project | Scope: Full renovation or new construction

Donor Recognition: Dedication plaque in the renovated home, family testimonial video, community acknowledgment event
